VingCard Elsafe to Showcase Latest Design and Technology Innovations at IHMRS 2012
Industry leader to demonstrate new hotel security, design and energy management offerings at annual hotel industry expo
DALLAS - November 7, 2012 - VingCard Elsafe, the global leader in hospitality security and part of the ASSA ABLOY Group, will once again be highlighting its most recent design and technology innovations for the hotel industry at the 97th annual International Hotel, Motel & Restaurant Show (IHMRS) 2012 in New York. The show, being held at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center November 11-13, is expected to draw a crowd of over 25,000 industry professionals this year to discover the latest products and services from more than 700 exhibitors. Continuing a tradition of innovation, VingCard Elsafe will be conducting demonstrations of its latest product offerings at Booth # 2627, including the revolutionary new Essence by VingCard locking system, the Zenith Drawer Safe by Elsafe and a technology integration of the award-winning Orion energy management system with Lutron Electronics.
An entirely new concept in locking design and technology, Essence by VingCard takes minimalism to the extreme, eliminating all lock hardware on the door by encasing all electronic components inside the door itself and making security virtually invisible to hotel guests. Although undetectable on the door exterior, Essence integrates VingCard Elsafe's most advanced contactless locking solutions into the interior electronics, including Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) and Near Field Communication (NFC) compatible locking technologies.
Zenith by Elsafe is a new top-opening drawer safe that is large enough to store and charge notebook computers of up to 15" wide. It is designed to maximize both space and guest convenience, and can be installed in any area of the guestroom, such as hotel guest work area desks, dressers, bedside tables, or inside cupboards with top-opening convenience and ease-of-use.
In addition to its advancements in hotel security technology, VingCard Elsafe has also collaborated with Lutron Electronics, the world's leading designer and manufacturer of light and shade control solutions for commercial and residential applications, to introduce a total guestroom control solution package for luxury hotels. This technology partnership integrates Lutron's premier lighting, drapery and shade control modules with VingCard Elsafe's award-winning Orion energy management system, as well as guestroom door locks, electronic safes and minibars, for maximum control, automation and energy savings.
Demonstrations of these innovations in hotel design, security and energy management, as well as core VingCard Elsafe product lines, will take place continuously throughout IHMRS 2012 at Booth # 2627.
