HILLSBORO, OREGON – March 10, 2009 – Caroma, the leader in dual flush toilets, urinals, and stylish bathroom sinks, is pleased to announce Green Depot, the nation’s leading supplier of environmentally-friendly building and living products, will be stocking and distributing Caroma high efficiency toilets in all stores throughout the Northeast.

All Caroma high efficiency toilets are two button flushing systems. The reduced flush button releases 0.8 gallons per flush for liquid and paper waste. The full flush button releases 1.28-1.6 gallons per flush (depending on model) for solid waste. This can save up to 44 percent more water than the standard 1.6 gallon single flush toilet and 74 percent more water than a 3.5 gallon single flush toilet. A major benefit of the Caroma toilets is the trap size, which is nearly double the North American standard, enabling the system to eliminate clogging and double flushing.
