SAUMUR, FRANCE La Distillerie Combier®, original creator of the world's first triple sec in 1834, announces that its flagship label and super-premium orange liqueur, Combier Liqueur d'Orange, will be available for the first time ever in the U. S. beginning in November. Combier's artisinal crafted orange liqueur is made from 100% fresh, hand-selected orange peels from the West Indies, sugar beets from the fields of Normandy and the family's secret ingredients from the Loire Valley.
With consumer demand for orange liqueurs at an all-time high in the U.S. market due to the nationwide cocktail craze coupled by the strong appeal for original ingredients, Combier Liqueur d'Orange will find a healthy niche just as it has in Europe for nearly 175 years. Combier delivers an all-natural liqueur made exclusively from fresh oranges peels which is better tasting, more stable, versatile and truer to the orange's unique flavor profile than the sugar and water-based cordials currently in use.
In order to obtain the perfect harmony that one enjoys in ever sip, Combier uses a triple-distillation process, hence the word triple-sec, whereby the ingredients are three times distilled in the very same century-old copper stills first used by the Combier family itself. The warmth and age of the stills add depth, while the triple-distillation process ensures that only the purest and most aromatic flavors make it into each bottle. Hence, its crystal clear color. Each bottle of Combier Liqueur d'Orange is produced, packaged, and shipped from the same location since the 19th century.
